I never seen this video until recently on VH1Soul. They have an hour dedicated to Old School Music videos every other day, and not just hip hop. there is alos R7B jams as well. It is called Soul School and it is on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sun at 11:00 am, 7:00 pm and 3:00
am. They do have alot of nice videos and I will be sharing them with you (minus the VH1Soul logo) in the future.
Well, this video is called "Friends" and is by Jody Watley. This track features Eric b and Rakim. This track is off the "You Wanna Dance With Me?" album in 1989. I do have other Jody Watley videos from the late 80's to early 90's, so if anyone wants me to convert and upload them, let me know.

We should all know that Jody Watley was a member of the 1980' soul legends "Shalamar", but did you know her sister is porn star "Midori"? - Have you got any of her videos? ;-)
JW & Rakim also collaborated together on the D-Dot remix of Jody's 1997 single "Off The Hook" (D-Dot was once a member of 2 Kings In A Cypher, a crew also featured on this site). Would love to see the video of that!
